If your itineraries permit, we recommend that you extend your stay in South East Queensland – the Noosa and Sunshine Coast hinterland areas, in particular; visit the Great Barrier Reef – either with a day trip to somewhere like Lady Elliot Island, or an extended visit based on Cairns; and for nature lovers, Carnarvon Gorge is a very special place. A grand tour incorporating North Queensland and Kakadu and Uluru in the Northern Territory is also strongly recommended.”
