Do you want to continue your rowing journey but not commit to a high performance program?

Our club athlete squad allows you to train and develop your rowing skills in an inclusive environment and provides opportunities, challenges, camaraderie and fun.

It's open to athletes aged 18+ with rowing experience, including students, young adults and recreational competitors.

The squad is overseen by Jacinta Edmunds, Coaching Director. Jacinta is a former Australian representative rower who medalled at the 2018 and 2019 World Rowing Championships and was selected for the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games. She channels her extensive rowing experience into her coaching. She trains and mentors our athletes for their rowing pathway to national selection.

Broad training goals set by the Coaching Director are undertaken by the athletes individually or as a crew.

On occasions, the club athlete squad will have opportunities to train with the high performance and junior performance squads, and may be invited to join our high performance athletes to compete in larger boats at nominated regattas.
