Lake Bagsvaerd, close to the city of Copenhagen, is getting ready to host the 42rd World Rowing Masters Regatta (“WRMR”) in September 2016. Our Danish rowing friends are inviting rowers from all over the world together with their families to enjoy four days of racing in beautiful surroundings. Copenhagen is easy to reach from the rest of the world.
Rowing in all forms has a long tradition in Denmark. Lake Bagsvaerd has been the training centre for top level rowers, resulting in many international medals through the years. Denmark is known for its large number of entries in WRMR’s and in 2016 they are preparing for the rest of the world to enjoy the venue and take part in good racing.
The FISA Masters Commission is working closely with the Organising Committee and all their hard working volunteers, without whom this regatta could never be organised.
The regatta gives a great opportunity to challenge yourself, your rowing friends and new friends in a friendly atmosphere.
