1949 – Nick Caris, Jim Bell, Kev Kehoe, Dave Mercer and cox Don Whittington smash the long-standing 1893 record for the fastest row from Brisbane to Ipswich, presided over by BDRA official Wal Hughes.

1952 – CRC Men’s 8+ is the Queensland representative crew.

1956 – CRC win the Champion Men’s 8+ of Queensland.

1959 – CRC win the Champion Men’s 8+ of Queensland.
